Herringbone flooring never really goes out of fashion. The blocks sit at an angle to form a neat zig-zag, and that simple trick makes a floor look considered rather than plain.
At Hardly Floors we supply herringbone to the trade in two forms. You can specify laminate or waterproof luxury vinyl, and both are built for everyday use.
Herringbone Laminate
Our Lignum laminate range brings the pattern to life in a 12mm board. It combines natural style with reliable, long-lasting performance.
Lignum laminate carries an AC4 abrasion rating. That means it is made to cope with high traffic areas such as halls, landings and living rooms.
A herringbone pack covers 1.92m2. If a job calls for a straight layout, the same range is sold as straight planks, and those packs cover 1.43m2.
Waterproof Herringbone LVT
Where water is a concern, our waterproof LVT is the smarter option. It is 100% waterproof and suitable for all rooms, including kitchens and bathrooms.
The Lignum LVT collection is available in click and dryback formats, so it can be locked together or glued down depending on the subfloor.
A herringbone pack covers 2.23m2, while straight plank packs cover 2.64m2.
Shades To Suit Any Brief
There is a wide choice of oak-effect finishes. Barley oak, Linen oak and Seashell oak keep things light and airy.
Mocha oak, Truffle oak and Ranch oak offer deeper, warmer tones. Greywood and Rustic grey suit cooler, more modern schemes.
Sahara oak sits between the two, which makes it an easy choice when a client wants something neutral. Samples of every shade are available to view in store.

Herringbone is not limited to hard flooring. Our carpet ranges include Country Herringbone, Venice Herringbone and Delft Herringbone.
Country Herringbone blends rustic charm with stain-resistant performance, and it is built to survive busy domestic traffic. Delft Herringbone is crafted from 100% wool and offers natural warmth with real resilience.
